Blade Runner 2049 review – a gigantic spectacle of pure hallucinatory craziness

I agree with what "Peter Bradshaw" has to say about Blade runner 2049 and I think his review on the movie is well thought out. His review, however kind of spoils the movie to people who have not seen it.

Blade Runner 2049 review – a future classic

This review basically spoils the whole movie. However, I can see that "Mark Kermode" knows his stuff because he has showed that the movie has referenced with other movies and he can explain in detail about the aspects of the movies that are similar.

This review by "Steve Rose" is well thought out and does not spoil the movie. It briefly explains the aspects of the movie and explains what parts of the movies connect with the conventions of the genre but does not spoil the movie. I can tell that this person knows a lot about the movie because they explained some stuff that I didn't even know.

       In this picture from the film Batman vs. Superman we can see that Superman is rated quite highly just from this one scene has he is surrounded by all his fans wanting to touch him which clearly shows he is highly regarded and respected in this city. Lighting Still Image Analysis

Within this picture, you can see a clear use of backlighting and filler lighting to create a low key lighting effect as all the left is coming from the left side to shine on the right side of her face. the use of showing only half her face creates a mysterious effect. The use of the light coming from the back makes the cigarette smoke around her look very strong and therefore entices the audience as to why she is by herself in a relatively dark room smoking a cigarette. Once again this still image has used low key lighting as the only clear light we can see being used is a top lighting this creates another ominous and mysterious effect. The use of top lighting means the only areas we can see the lady is her face. The use of only showing her face makes us the viewer question as to why the director has created the effect of us only being able to look at her face and no other parts of the body.
