Ignite Presentation

WWW: I like your idea for the dynamic with the characters. EBI: Timings of presentation but great presentation none the less. WWW: Good concept sounds interesting. EBI: Try to apply more media theories throughout. WWW: Alot if information in a short amount of time. EBI: Practise timings better for changes don't make narrative that obvious. I believe that the concept of my movie and the realistic narrative was a a point that people really liked just the execution must be good to have a clear narrative in a two minute trailer, I do believe that by saying too much for some slides I ended up speaking to fast and saying future points that made one of my slides completely irrelevant therefore giving everyone the impression of not revising.

Blog task 1: The impact of Google Answer the following questions: 1) Why has Google led to the decline of the newspaper industry? Because it is now more convenient to access soft and hard news through the use of google,  they attracted a lot of customers that wanted to advertise on their search engine which led to media businesses siphoning billions in advertising revenue over the past decade or so. 2) Find a statistic from the article that illustrates the decline of traditional news media. Newspaper businesses had a decline of $40 billion, or about 60 percent of the ad revenue in 2000 3) Looking at the graph featured in the article, what period has seen the steepest decline in newspaper advertising revenue?  2005 - 20012 as this is was close to when the internet was introduced. 4) Do you personally think Google is to blame for newspapers closing and journalists losing their jobs? Boyz N The Hood City Of God Boyhood The Breakfast Club Varsity Blues The Karate Kid Film trailer 1:  The Disaster Artist is about the making of the film “The Room,” and follows Tommy Wiseau who is clearly not American, but tries to be, and Greg Sestero, who is American. The trailer for “The Disaster Artist” quickly and effectively communicates narrative and genre through the funny exchanges between characters to convey to an audience that it is clearly a comedy film. In addition to this, the use of over the top acting from James Franco portraying a famous and likeable character, being Tommy Wiseau, further creates this comedic and light-hearted atmosphere while the characters in the film try to create this movie, “The Room.” This, of course, is the main narrative in the film and has constant references, that were scenes that were hard to film, recreations of times at which Tommy Wiseau was hard to work with, and even inside jokes here and there that fans of “The Room,” the ta
