Please Mum, Can we Please stay at this house?
I am not ready to move


*Katy The Mom*

KATY:
I'm sorry Ed, but we have to leave I have already paid the deposit and
the moving truck is outside.


Ed:
OH MY DAYS
*Ed Stomps Away*


KATY:
I'm sorry, Ed. But we need to go...

*KATY  and Ed leave the house*
*Ed sits down, looking defeated in the car.*
*Katy Drives off with Ed in the back*

*Shot off Ed crying in the back*

 *Ed Walks into New School*

DANIEL:
Welcome Ed, This is Westminster High School


Ed:
I don't want to be here


DANIEL:
I understand the difficulties of making new friends but soon you will fit in.


Ed:
I'm already fed up

Bully 1:

*Continues to kick him*

DANIEL:
YOU, YOU KIDS MOVE AWAY FROM HIM?


*Bully's begin to run away*

Bully 2:
WE WILL SEE YOU AFTER SCHOOL

DANIEL:
Ed, Are you alright?

Within this picture, you can see a clear use of backlighting and filler lighting to create a low key lighting effect as all the left is coming from the left side to shine on the right side of her face. the use of showing only half her face creates a mysterious effect. The use of the light coming from the back makes the cigarette smoke around her look very strong and therefore entices the audience as to why she is by herself in a relatively dark room smoking a cigarette. Once again this still image has used low key lighting as the only clear light we can see being used is a top lighting this creates another ominous and mysterious effect. The use of top lighting means the only areas we can see the lady is her face. The use of only showing her face makes us the viewer question as to why the director has created the effect of us only being able to look at her face and no other parts of the body.        In this picture from the film Batman vs. Superman we can see that Superman is rated quite highly just from this one scene has he is surrounded by all his fans wanting to touch him which clearly shows he is highly regarded and respected in this city. Costume: The use of costume makes this scene very iconic due to the fact that this suit is very recognisable as the blue and red colours which could be interpreted as being as being very patriotic as Superman has similar colours as well as always serves his country in that manner. Lighting: The use of having dark colours near and around Superman creates the idea that they are living in quite a dark world and is quite misty and moody. However the use of having a big bold light on Superman himself creates and idea of him being someone they can look up to and maybe there is some hope as he is the opposite of the nearby surroundings. Funny Games (2001) 1. What is the director saying about the family from the choice of music played? The use of music played at the start of the video is that they are of an upper higher class due to them listening to classical music which is categorised as being of a higher class audience. On top of that the use of having the family dressed in quite expensive looking clothes while listening to that music creates a sense of them being wealthy and posh. 2. How would you describe this use of music? The very few first scenes start off as being diegetic and parallel as the music fits the appropriate scene and mis-en-scene shown.
